Thank you John, your original feedback to me helped in my decision to remove it. However, I have posted a few questions to Mormon's here: http://betweentheworlds.typepad.com/betweenaworld/2006/12/to_the_mormons_.html

Oh, no, you found us out.
Boy, we Mormons are such a wacky lot, what with our crazy underwear and believing in Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and everything.
What a brilliant expose'.
Bravo for you!

I enjoyed reading everyone's comments on . . . what was it that started all of this again? Oh yes, underwear!
I think tolerance is a good thing, and personally don't have an issue with whether you wear underwear or not, or if so, what kind. Nor do I find it particularly interesting whether one believes in one God, or many, or thinks he/she will become a God himself when he dies. To each his own.
The price I ask for my tolerance is that you not try to impose your beliefs on me or my family, or try to convert me or one of mine. I think if your religion requires you to go out and tell people what you believe in, or even go so far as to try to convert others to your religion/beliefs, then you should expect that people will be curious about those things your religion holds sacred -- including your underwear, if you do indeed hold that sacred.
By golly, if I learned (as I only recently did) that a religion holds underwear sacred, then I'd be curious -- not judgemental, I remind you -- about what was so special.
I, for one, am 1) happy to see the picture, so I know what everyone is getting their underwear in a twist about, and 2) unimpressed with what I saw. But to each his own -- I come away from this a little more educated/enlightened.

Its probably too late for most of the pro-mormon posters to read this. My dad was brainwashed into the mormon church by his white trash wife who was a mormon for the welfare that the church (loosely used term) provided her. My dad made good money as was pressured into joining to give that money away. I always thought him a smart man, not given to addictions or brainwashing, but I suppose the thought of no sex with your wife is a powerful motivator. To this day I only witness what can be described as a self inflicted mental disorder caused solely by that cult.
How is it a religion when the man who founded it was previously a free mason, and most of the temple rituals used by mormons are actually free masons. The church expanded only through polygamy and inducting their children. The sacred shroud from egypt on display around the beginning of the charade was "translated" by J. Smith prior to the finding of the rosetta stone, as the words of wisdom. But oops, the rosetta stone ACTUALLY deciphered it as instructions on embalming. The mormon religion is a sham and DANGEROUS charade, they have no founding in historical events. BTW, they say that ancient Mexican civilizations were mormons, and America is the "promised land." Unfortunately, you can't argue with the militantly ignorant who blindly disregard absolute facts about their religon and fight instead with proselytizing finction.

What is the big deal? They goolged this, to see this picture in the first place. I think that is some kind of sin right there. You should not be viewing something that is not your wife! Opps forgot about that sin? All of the Mormom's on here talk about there families and values but they seem to have alot of time for google. Hey that is how I found this picture! Love the outfit though, I think I will make my daughter wear it when she gets to be a teenager. The thought of that outfit on my daughter on her first hot date would make my husband fill warm and cozy inside.

One question I'd like to ask all of you is why you care so much about a faith if you don't believe in it? Second, your research! Mormons believe that after the second coming, you will be judged based on your life on earth. After the judgment, there are the kingdoms in which you will be admitted. The highest kingdom will be on earth in it's highest glory. Not on some alien planet where we will rule over others.
Second, our baptisms for the dead aren't like the people we are baptizing on behalf of don't have a choice. When Mormons are baptized, it is an action. You aren't converted to a faith until you've had a change of heart. This is the same for those who have past on. In their next life, they have the opportunity to accept the gospel or decline it. They still have their free will.
As for the whole Christian belief thing, our church isn't called "The Mormons", it's The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our faith represents Christ. It's centered around him.
Joseph Smith. He didn't follow blindly. If you believe in visions from the Old and New Testament, why can't God still talk to is children now? Is is so hard to believe that he still talks to us? Millions of people pray everyday and claim to receive personal answers to prayers right? He didn't write the Book of Mormon. It is scripture or journal from people of the Americas. After Christ was resurrected, we believe he visit the America's too. Joseph Smith was given a tool to translate this scripture to share with the world. The man had a 3rd grade education! Do you really think a third grader could have written something like that? Read it!
To homosexuals: I have several friends who are gay and don't have any problem with them. I think this issue is different for everyone when it comes to people's opinions on the subject. We are told not to discriminate anyone and love everyone. I don't have any hate or anger towards my friends, and would never tell them to not be who they are. They have their own lives and make their own decisions.
Modern Day Prophet: For all of you who read the Bible every day, it was important for those people at the time to follow whichever law was supposed to be followed at the time. Do you really think that every person would be able to follow the Law of Moses? We have a modern day prophet to lead and guide us for what is happening in our world today. For the past decade, our prophet has taught in every conference to stay out of debt! The talks go more into depth but has helped a lot of LDS families for those who followed his counsel right now. Food storage has been another. With several states and countries having natural disasters, it would have been helpful to them. The list can go on. The prophet gives us counsel to lead us in these days.
Garments: I'm only 21 years old and have not had the opportunity to go through the temple to receive my endowments. During this is when we start wearing our garments. It is a covenant we make with Heavenly Father, and they represent that promise. They are there to protect us. Every person has their own experience but it is very sacred, and not to be shared with anyone but your close family.
I only wish to share this information so those of you who have the wrong impressions can be more aware of our religion. I do not feel deprived of the things we don't do such as drinking, smoking, drugs, pornography that others may feel free to do. As for the "ugly underwear" you guys call it, we mormons get to wear the same lingerie that every other girl wears while having sex.
If you have any questions, email me, or visit www.mormon.org. That website covers the basics :D
